As you probably know by now, I love a good open closet, so it's no wonder that I fell in love with these shoe shelves. This swoon-worthy dressing room belongs to hair colorist Rita Hazan and was designed by Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. Check out the rest of her New York City loft.

  2. These photos are beautiful, but I prefer to keep my shoes where they can't get easily dusted.

  17. If I had a house big enough I would definitely know down 6 walls to have a huge walk in wardrobe. Am I being too ambitious?

  19. Nice, but, I wouldn't want to do makeup or put my makeup brushes close to shoes and feet smell. The second one more make sense as a dressing room, not bedroom.

  20. I know these shoes are designer and worth xyz of money, but lining them up on shelves in a room where you sleep, work, meet with people etc. ? ....Why..? Shoes are for wearing, you put your feet in them, walk various sidewalks in them. Books would be better there ;)
